Maybe South Africa with Ramaphosa. With that said, businesspeople as presidents is still a relatively new phenomenon across Africa, but they seem to have a better track record than those of the career politicians turned presidents.

Names like President Kibaki, President Félix Houphouët-Boigny and President Sirleaf (who had an extensive career in international banking before becoming president) spring to mind as success stories though. They're just more likely to be more highly skilled and possess real world, hands-on experience within an African context.
